The Senior Compliance Analyst will interact with state regulators and will review legislation as it affects assigned insurance products. Requirements include knowledge in fraud and SIU reporting, complaints and advertising review. Additionally, this position must have a strong working knowledge of group Life & Health insurance and experience with regulatory and state filings.


Additional Job Duties/Responsibilities are as follows:



Interpret and implement changes to state and federal insurance laws and regulations that govern our business.
Draft responses to inquiries from regulators.
Participate in market conduct exams.
Manage the complaint, fraud and SIU processes.
Draft compliance policies and procedures.
Participate in the review of advertising material.
File appropriate forms with state insurance departments and follow-through to approval.
Research, review and summarize laws and regulations applicable to assigned insurance products
Communicate to interested parties, status of filings and approvals. Also communicate any state specific requirements for each product and state.
Work with Contract Analysts to ensure all issued forms are in compliance.
Respond to inquiries from other operational areas.


The successful candidate will have a BS/BA degree and at least 5 years of Life & Health insurance experience with a strong regulatory compliance background. Must have some knowledge of fraud/SIU reporting and be able to interact with state regulators. Experience with regulatory bodies such as state insurance regulators, SEC, FINRA, and other external stakeholders such as auditors and industry associations is highly desired. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
