|
Manage assigned Reinsurance accounts and broker territory to meet or exceed production goals while operating within the context of company underwriting standards and guidelines as well as the company brand. This includes appropriate risk selection, terms and pricing to ensure a favorable risk / reward trade-off on each account; management of pricing and loss ratios to ensure production targets are met; adherence to all company policies, underwriting authority, and underwriting guidelines to ensure company standards are upheld; proper management of workflow to ensure service standards are maintained; implementation of company positioning strategy to ensure service offerings are fully understood by brokers and clients; and work with Client Services on the execution of the Reinsurance service plans to uphold all service obligations that are utilized.
Position works closely with clients and designated company personnel in building and maintaining internal and external relationships, and provides support and training for the other department personnel.
Requirement:
Bachelor Degree or Equivalent with an emphasis in Finance, Insurance, or Business preferred.
Industry training including IIA, CPCU or ARe coursework. Minimum of ten (10) years of insurance underwriting and marketing experience, including at least two (2) years of reinsurance experience with major company.
