Medical Peer Review Sales Executive
Location: California
Position Summary Help grow the business by managing and cultivating existing relationships, while developing new business opportunities and creating a cost-effective marketing strategy on the West Coast
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Direct sales activities and meets performance goals accordingly with the use of all available company resources such as company sales statistical systems.
Applies consultative selling skills in order to determine the needs of the customer. Ensures consistent competitive market analyses to ensure price schedules and discount rates are in accordance with market conditions and the use of this type of sales approach.
Works closely with sales staff in the analyses of customer sales statistics and operating environment; with emphasis on identifying and realizing expanded profitable solutions opportunities.
Represents company and regional trade shows as needed, in order to sell the solutions to existing or prospective customers.
Delivers sales presentations utilizing the company's Strategic Selling Skills concepts as well as other company resources. Uses this concept and tools in the preparation and delivery of presentations to larger accounts.
Performs additional related duties as assigned.
Experience and Education Requirements
Exemplary consultative selling skills
Thorough knowledge of and proven relationships with managed care organizations, medical insurance carriers, Group TPA's, hospitals, employer groups and state agencies
Ability and desire to build a consultative sales team that focuses on building business partnerships with their selected customer base
Up-to-date knowledge of presentation software such as PowerPoint and Excel. knowledge of computers necessary to operate effectively with company systems and programs
Ability to interpret industry trends and competitive information and develop strategies and tactics to respond to changes in the marketplace
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Interpersonal skills sufficient to develop and maintain cooperative working and business relationships with others
